DDS3 - Dataset of mosaic sputum smear microscopy images for evaluation of bacillus detection algorithmsThis data set corresponds to mosaic images that are composed of a 10x10 arrangement of patches (negatives and positives) from the DDS1 dataset, resulting in a 400x400 pixel image. For each mosaic image, there is a corresponding binary mask, where the bacilli are presented as white pixels and the background as black pixels. This dataset was generated to enable the training, validation and testing of bacillus detection algorithms. There are 8,000 mosaic images with corresponding binary masks. 6,000 for training set, 1,000 for validation set and 1,000 for testing set. The folders are stored individually as tar.gz files with a total size of 2.15 GB.
