This dataset includes 0.25º spatial resolution time series of the Standardized Evapotranspiration Deficit Index. The gridded data has been created using the version 3.1 of the Global Land Evaporation Amsterdam Model (GLEAM) dataset (https://www.gleam.eu/#home). Data covers the period between 1980 and 2016. SEDI is obtained using a log-logistic distribution to fit the Evapotranspiration Deficit.
