This dataset contains the spatial distribution data of land use types in Neijiang City, Sichuan Province, China, in 2010. It is vector data with attribute fields including land code and land type. The land types are classified into secondary categories as follows: paddy field, dry land, closed forest land, shrub land, open forest land, other forest land, high-coverage grassland, medium-coverage grassland, low-coverage grassland, river and canal, lake, reservoir and pond, permanent glacier and snow-covered land, tidal flat, beach land, urban land, rural residential areas, other construction land, sandy land, Gobi, saline-alkali land, marsh, bare land, bare rock and gravel land, and others. Specifically, cultivated land is divided into paddy fields and dry lands in mountainous, hilly, plain regions, as well as areas with slopes greater than 25 degrees based on landform. The data has a scale of 1:100,000.
