The dataset contains survey responses and spatial data used to analyse how residents and users perceive local centres in relation to the spatial and functional structure of urban areas. It supports the study “Do I have a local centre? Understanding the importance of spatial and functional structure for the perception of areas as central” and focuses on two Polish cities: Kraków and Łódź.
