West Midlands Local Transport Plan Tracking Survey - measuring against targets set in the plan

Across the West Midlands Region, local authorities have to work together on key strategic functions that cross geographic council boundaries. Transport for West Midlands (TfWM) part of the WMCA has a duty to plan for, and deliver, a transport system across the West Midlands Metropolitan area that will boost the regional economy and improve the daily lives of its residents and workers. The West Midlands Strategic Transport plan - ‘Movement for Growth’ sets out the WMCA’s vision, priorities, approach and commitment to building a world class, sustainable, infrastructure system.

TfWM's progress will be measured to gauge how well TfWM is doing against its vision through the monitoring of specific KPI’s. The Movement for Growth Tracking Study will provide a measure of specific KPI’s relating to walking, cycling and car driving. The data provided in this report provides the findings for the 2018/19 survey.
