Metagenome Sequencing of Microbial Mats of Manikaran Hot Springs. microbial mat metagenome

The Himalayan hot springs located in the valley of the Parvati River at Manikaran, India are extreme environments holding a low prokaryotic diversity. We aim to study the community dynamics at such extreme environments. Here, we are submitting the draft genome sequence of Bdellovibrio genome reconstructed from the metagenome data to provide insights into characterization of Bdellovibrio and its prey to understand their interaction.
