Integration profiling of type V-C Cas1

We sequenced the products of an in vitro integration reaction of a Cas1 from a type V-C CRISPR system in order to determine the sequence preference of the reaction. This system differs from previously characterized CRISPR integrases in that it lacks Cas2. In addition to profiling the degree of specificity of the Cas1, we also sought to determine which of the multiple CRISPR arrays associated with the particular system in question was favored for integration.
