Dataset for "Decarbonizing South and East Asia electrification with wind power and solar PV requires high subsidy"

This dataset is from the paper "Decarbonizing South and East Asia electrification with wind power and solar PV requires high subsidy". Please cite this data as you would the paper. It contains the modelled capacity factor (CF) and levelized cost of electricity (LCOE) from solar PV, onshore and offshore wind, evalated across the countries of South and East Asia. Data represent the long-term annual average, and are evaluated on a 1 km grid. Data files are organised into ZIP archives, one per country, named according to their ISO2 code. Data files within each ZIP are in CSV format, organised as one file per country (for smaller countries) or one file per GADM2 province (for larger countries), and further divided into 'land' for solar PV and onshore wind, and 'sea' for offshore wind.
