Appendix 5 is a .R file that contains the R code (R Core Team, 2017) required to fit the phenomenological models shown in Chapter 5. This code has been altered from that presented in Dennis et al. (2016) to allow spatial variation alongside year-to-year variation in rho (productivity) for both uni- and bi-voltine species. All alterations are marked in-line in the script with explanatory notes, using the notation "### Start addition" and "### End addition" to highlight where code has been added.
