OXA-427 is a new class-D carbapenemase encountered in different species of Enterobacteriaceae found in clinical samples of different patients. Two plasmids containing the blaOXA-427 carbapenemase gene present in two isolates of different Enterobacteriaceae species were completely sequenced and annotated.
