This Excel spreadsheet contains a qualitative set of data collected from a questionnaire administered to 583 secondary school students across New Zealand in 2016. Students were surveyed about their perceptions of the attributes of academically successful students and their best and worst secondary school teachers. Demographic data were also collected which included (age, sex, ethnicity, parent education).<br><br>
