This dataset contains the typical result and primer-probe sequences of the Yersenia pestis genotyping assay, and the reproducibility of Tm measurement for the Yersenia pestis genotyping assay, as well as information of strains and plasmids used in this study.

The primer-probe sequences of the Y. pestis typing assay to genotype the global and regional Y. pestis (Supporting information 2, Table S4-Table S6).The information of Y. pestis strains (Supporting information 2,Table S1), Y. pseudotuberculosis strain (Supporting information 2,Table S2) and plasmids (Supporting information 2,Table S3) used in our study.The reproducibility of Tm measurement for the Y. pestis genotyping assay. Reproducibility of Tm measurement was assessed for Reactions 1-2 and Reaction 3 using gDNA from seven different global Y. pestis strains and nine regional Y. pestis strains, respectively. Plasmid DNA and the gDNA of one Y. pseudotuberculosis strain was used for the absent melting peaks. Samples at 100 copies/mL were analyzed on three independent instruments, each with three technical replicates. Standard deviation (SD) of the Tm value was calculated for each melting peak (Supporting information 1, Fig S3).The typical result of the Y. pestis genotyping assay (Supporting information 1, Fig S1, Fig S2, and Fig S4).
