Corporate governance and workplace partnership: case studies

The case study organisations selected for this project varied in type and size, ranging from small family held companies to large international businesses with highly diffused shareholdings. They covered a range of industries including mining, financial services, and manufacturing.
Each of the companies was selected because they had undergone, or were undergoing a significant change in corporate structure and/or governance. These ranged from privatisation, listing, change of ownership, merger, a significant restructuring, and so on. The study used an 'event' methodology, which provided a means for studying changes.
