Purpose:

The goal of this experiment was to measure the influence of the presence of an interviewer and incentives on equality preferences.

Key Findings:

Priming towards competition increases individual unequality preferences, eyes lower the inequality preferences in the competition setting. Incentives increase the inequality preference.
