Gene expression of S. commune strains H4-8 and delta-roc1 in liquid culture

We analyzed gene expression of the lignocellulose-degrading fungus Schizophyllum commune in liquid culture during growth on either glucose or cellulose. We used strains H4-8 (reference strain) and delta-Roc1. Roc1 is the transcription factor Regulator of Cellulases, which plays a key role in regulating the expression of cellulases during growth on cellulose.
