Deutsches Textarchiv (German Text Archive)

The German Text Archive provides a cross-disciplinary and cross-genre basic inventory of German-language texts with a focus from the early 16th to the early 20th centuries. The main goal of the project funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) from 2007 to 2016 was to create the so-called DTA core . This core DTA corpus comprises around 1500 titles from the period from approx. 1600 to 1900, which were selected due to their outstanding importance for the development of the German language or the respective genres and scientific disciplines.
