This dataset contains the data, analytical models, and replication files supporting the article: “How EU photovoltaic de-risking affects wholesale electricity prices: A scenario analysis for Spain”. The dataset includes: • Raw data collected from EMBER Energies, Red Eléctrica de España (REE), Eurostat, and other public sources. • Processed datasets used for scenario analysis, photovoltaic deployment estimation, merit-order effect calculations, and household electricity cost assessment. • R scripts used for data preprocessing, forecasting model development (ARIMA, SARIMA, ETS, Random Forest, and XGBoost), and scenario simulations. • Documentation describing variables, assumptions, methodologies, and data sources.
