Research Protocol for m6A Modification-Related Molecular Mechanisms in Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) and Experimental Validation

This study focuses on Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) and conducts multi-dimensional research centered on m6A modification. Firstly, through bioinformatics analysis of GEO datasets, diabetes gene chips/MeRIP-seq chips, and verification with cross-databases, the expression, correlation, and differential genes of m6A-related enzymes are analyzed. Secondly, signaling pathways such as PI3K-AKT are screened via GO/KEGG enrichment analysis and network pharmacology. Meanwhile, a T2DM rat model is established to perform animal experiments, verifying changes in indicators, genes, and proteins after treatment. Combined with molecular docking and other experiments, this study ultimately clarifies the regulatory mechanism of m6A modification in T2DM.
