The data were collected as a part of Safe Passage: Sea-Ice Research for Arctic Resource Development and Northern Communities, led by Ocean Networks Canada (ONC) with funding provided by Polar Knowledge Canada as a part of the Northern Science and Technology program. The project aims to improve understanding of sea ice processes, especially those critical to Arctic transportation.
