Identification of sequence variation for orange-colored fruit flesh in cucumber

This study was conducted to find a novel mutation in the Or gene involved in carotenoid synthesis in the endocarp tissue of cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.). This study was a part of Korean cucumber genome sequencing project titled "Genome sequencing, genetic analysis of disease resistance in Korean cucumber cultivars" (PJ013432).
