PGSD Eccentricity Demonstration Reproducibility Package v1.1
收藏资源简介:
Version 1.1 - corrected reference-sphere geometry This repository provides the data, analysis code, numerical outputs, and documentation required to reproduce the center-eccentricity demonstration presented in the manuscript: “Physics-Guided Scientific Discovery (PGSD): A Reference Architecture for Explainable Knowledge Generation in Mechanical Engineering.” Version 1.1 supersedes version 1.0. It corrects the reference-sphere diameter from 24.9984 mm to 24.98484 mm and consequently updates the effective probe-center contact radius to: R_e = 15.49242 mm. The original CNC measurement files are preserved unchanged. The correction affects the contact-geometry constants, the constant-radius interpretation, and the calculated higher-order contact scale. It does not change the first-order LFH differential coefficient pair because those coefficients are estimated from the measured-coordinate columns and angular directions. The demonstration uses two CNC touch-probing acquisitions of the reference sphere, denoted X0Y0 and LT_X0Y0, each containing 32 equatorial measurement points. A nominal relative offset of (-0.300, -0.300) mm was introduced through the CNC/G54 command between the two acquisitions. The package includes: the original CNC measurement files in CMM format; normalized coordinate datasets; Python scripts for Local Fourier Harmonic analysis and circle fitting; numerical results corresponding to the manuscript; files used to reproduce Figure 4; documentation of the coordinate convention, units, sampling sequence, contact-geometry constants, and execution procedure; a version history and correction note; a package manifest and SHA-256 checksums. The package reproduces the first-order LFH differential coefficient pair: Delta a1 = -0.299865 mm Delta b1 = -0.300743 mm and the corresponding provisional inferred magnitude of 0.424695 mm. Using the corrected effective contact radius, the characteristic second-order contact scale is 2.90465 micrometres. The nominal CNC/G54-commanded offset was not independently measured using an external calibrated displacement reference. Therefore, the numerical differences between the LFH estimate and the nominal command must not be interpreted as independently verified displacement errors. Only one acquisition was available for each state, and no complete uncertainty budget, within-state repeatability study, or multi-state validation was performed. The reported coefficient pair is consequently classified as a physically and operationally corroborated Candidate Signature, not as a validated or canonical Signature. Changes from version 1.0 corrected the reference-sphere diameter to 24.98484 mm; updated the effective contact radius to 15.49242 mm; updated the higher-order contact-scale calculation to 2.90465 micrometres; updated the analysis documentation, numerical metadata, and checksums; preserved the original CMM measurement files; confirmed that the first-order LFH differential coefficients and provisional inverse estimate remain unchanged. This package supports Section 6 of the PGSD Foundation Preprint v1.2.
