Soil texture, soil pH, soil specific compounds, bulk density, water-stable macro- and micro-aggregates, and fungal community data from Pushmataha Forest Habitat Research Area

The purpose of this dataset was to analyze the impact of the shift from a forested landscape to savanna landscape via fire return intervals on soil organic carbon concentration and certain mycorrhizal fungi community groups. Within this dataset, there is data on water stable macro- and micro-aggregates, soil PLFA data on fungal communities (AM, saprophytic, and non-specific), soil organic matter and total carbon, soil texture, soil bulk density, and select soil chemistry properties.
