Italy: monthly mobile phone actions 2020

A survey from the third quarter of 2020 found that 51 percent of Italian internet users made video calls or used services like Facetime to video chat, while 48 percent of respondents used their smartphones to interact with QR codes. Roughly two in 10 respondents reported using a mobile payment service like Apple Pay or Samsung Pay, despite mobile and digital wallets being the most popular e-commerce transaction method for online shopping in Italy.
