Relocated Eagle Ford Earthquake Catalog for Salles et al. (2026) "Relocating the Eagle Ford Earthquake Catalog for TexNet with a Regional 1-D Velocity Model"

This dataset contains the relocated Eagle Ford earthquake catalog (02/2017 to 05/2025) developed as part of the study “Relocating the Eagle Ford Earthquake Catalog in TexNet with a Regional 1-D Velocity Model” (Salles et al., 2026). The catalog covers seismicity in the Eagle Ford Shale region of south-central Texas and was produced to improve earthquake locations in an area affected by intensified oil and gas activity and induced seismicity. Earthquakes were relocated using the NonLinLoc probabilistic earthquake-location algorithm and a new regional 1-D velocity model (EF1D) implemented in the Texas Seismological Network (TexNet) workflow. EF1D was developed for southern Texas using a regional crustal velocity structure constrained by historical active-source refraction results and updated Vp/Vs estimates from local earthquake data.
