A survey control point (RR23-01) has been placed at Robinson Ridge, Windmill Islands, East Antarctica. It consists of a hardened steel, galvanised survey nail with flat round head and centring mark, with inscription ‘survey point’. It has been hammered into an existing crack in the rock. This survey mark was emplaced under the Notice of Determination and Authorisation – Variation 3 for Project 4503: Reducing Environmental Impacts at Contaminated Sites in Antarctica.
