资源简介:
The purpose of an admission register was to record basic details about children admitted to the school, and about their parents or guardians. The registers were also used to record the progress of the children through various classes and the date of their leaving the school. It appears that some earlier volumes in this series have not survived. This volume contains information pertaining to each pupil including: date of admission; pupil's name, age and religious denomination; and date of leaving previous school. The following details are recorded about the child's parents or guardians: name, residence and occupation. The pupil's date of admission to each subsequent grade or division of the school and date of leaving the school are also recorded.Girls and boys are listed on opposite pages in order of admission, and numbered in two separate, continuous sequences. The numbering of each sequence commences at the beginning of the volume. There is no break in the volume at the point corresponding to the school’s closure in 1931 and re-opening in 1936.
