This dataset provides official, curated German federal electoral district boundaries (Wahlkreise) for the latest available date, maintained as part of the Huwise Geographical Reference Repository (Georef). Political Data Enrichment: Contains official names, short names, and unique identifiers (such as wkr_code and lan_code) to structure and clean up political analysis and socio-economic reporting by constituency. Enhancements & Data Quality Unlike raw geographic data, this dataset has been specifically optimized for web performance and data consistency: Enriched Identifiers: Added ISO 3166-3 Area codes to guarantee seamless international data compliance. Performance Optimized: Geometries have been intelligently simplified to ensure fast loading times and high performance across all web services and API calls, without losing geographical relevance.
