Data of the Czech common bird monitoring schemes

The files contain monitoring data on common breeding bird populations from Czechia collected by two monitoring schemes: an old scheme (Jednotný program sčítání ptáků - JPSP), operated from 1982 to 2024, and a new scheme (Liniové sčítání druhů - LSD), running since 2018. The data are organized into eight datasets: (a) transect-level JPSP bird counts (count_data_JPSP_1982-2024.txt), (b) transect-level JPSP coordinates (jpsp_geodata.txt), (c) transect-level LSD counts (count_data_LSD_2018-2025.txt), (d) transect-LSD coordinates (lsd.geojson), (e) species-level population indices and trends based on JPSP data (All_Indices_All_Trends_Czechia_JPSP_2024.xlsx), (f) species-level population indices and trends based on LSD data (All_Indices_All_Trends_Czechia_LSD_2025.xlsx), (g) species-level population indices and trends based on scheme combination (All_Indices_All_Trends_Czechia_Combination_2025.xlsx), (h) species list for respective schemes (speciesList.txt).
