Her real name is unknown, but the beauty and wealth of detail in the face, jewellery and costume are striking.* *Visible on her cheeks, hair, jewellery and clothes are traces of colours. There is no doubt that The Beauty of Palmyra was once painted.* *The Portrait of The Beauty of Palmyra was used to seal her tomb.
