The overexpression of LRRC8A may play a vital role in transducing cell signaling required for cell proliferation and migration. Since the number of proteins identified by mass spectrometry was limited, the translated proteins depending on the LRRC8A-mediated cell signaling pathway were not all detected. Therefore, the transcriptome of the OE LRRC8A cells was further sequenced. 21,193 genes were counted in the sequencing analysis; a total of 129 downregulated and 126 upregulated genes were identified in HCT116 cells with the over-expressed LRRC8A.
