ASSESSMENT OF THE TECHNICAL CONDITION OF ASYNCHRONOUS TRACTION MOTORS OF MAINLINE ELECTRIC LOCOMOTIVES

This paper investigates the factors affecting the operating conditions of asynchronous traction motors in mainline electric locomotives under the climatic conditions characteristic of the mountainous regions of Uzbekistan. The influence of adverse environmental conditions on the thermal state, reliability, and service life of traction motors is analyzed. Particular attention is paid to the importance of thermal condition monitoring and prediction for improving the operational reliability and efficiency of electric locomotives.
