资源简介:
"Impedance plethysmography (IPG) and photo plethsymography (PPG) are noninvasive techniques for sensing the electrical impedance variation in a body segment caused by blood volume variation following every cardiac ejection and using the sensed impedance to estimate peripheral blood flow (PBF) and other cardiovascular indices. The MGMCET-FMCI-PBF database has been prepared as part of a research work at MGM\u2019s College of Engineering & Technology (MGMCET), Navi-Mumbai, India and Father Muller Charitable Institutions (FMCI), Mangalore, India to study variability in heart rate, peripheral blood flow and pulse morphology index in controls and patients. Study-1 comprises IPG records (14,478) of 5 minutes duration each, at wrist location in young volunteers (around 200), without any history of major sickness in the past 6 months, before and after intervention of placebo (2) and homeopathic medicines (5) in different potencies (5). In each setting, 5 recordings were made before and another 5 recordings were made after each intervention in a particular subject. For all practical purposes, these recordings can be considered as control data from normal subjects.Study-2 comprises IPG records (1029) of 5 minutes duration each, at wrist location in normal volunteers (around 108), without any history of major sickness in the past 6 months, and hypertensive patients (around 101). In each setting, 3-5 recordings were made in a particular subject. These recordings were made to identify changes in variability spectrum caused by hypertension or aging. Study-3 comprises PPG records (73) of 5 minutes duration each at index finger in the volunteers (normal as well as patients). These recordings were made to automate cloud based peak detection in the signal for assessment of physiological variability.Study-4 comprises ECG and PPG recorded simultaneously for 5 minutes duration in lead-I and index finger respectively in the normal volunteers (51) and hypertensive patients (22). These recordings were made to study cross correlation between heart rate and pulse arrival time (PAT) to understand the blood pressure regulation mechanisms."
