Tumor and immune remodeling following radiotherapy in human renal cell carcinoma

We performed single-cell analysis of renal cell carcinoma tumors from patients treated with or without radiotherapy to address how treatment shapes the immune compartment and interactions with cancer cells. We identified increased transition from stem-like T cell populations to effector and exhausted T cells in irradiated tumors. Overall design: Single cell comparisons of radiotherapy treated resected RCC tumors and nephrectomy only controls.
