Data from Archaeological Recording at Packington Moor, Lichfield, Staffordshire, 2020-2023 (HS2 Phase One)

This collection comprises reports, site records, images, spreadsheets, and GIS files from archaeological recording at an area of mitigation work carried out by Connect Archaeology between 29th June and 10th September 2020 at WP29D Packington Moor, Buckshead Farm. The Mitigation Area had been identified as having archaeological potential during previous archaeological investigations conducted during the WP29B Weeford to Whittington trial trenching program which discovered several linear features in this area, of likely archaeological origin. Finds recovered from the archaeological recording included pottery, animal bone, fired clay, flint and worked stone.
