This dataset mainly analyzes the soil physicochemical properties of the experimental plots at the Urat Desert Steppe Research Station (referred to as Urat Station, http://urat.casnw.net/). The measured indicators include soil moisture content, soil pH, soil bulk density, soil mechanical composition, soil total carbon, soil total nitrogen, and so on. It also covers the data of the two soil layers (0-10 cm and 10-20 cm) from the vegetation surveys conducted at Urat Station from 2018 to 2020.
