Chrysochromulina tobin was recovered from a brackish water lake. P3 is an alga-bacterial consortium containing 10 bacterial species in its biome. Cultures were maintained on a 12 hour light (100uE):12 hour dark photoperiod, 20C, and salinity level 4mM; the sample was collected after 6hr of light period
