Replication Data for: "The Exaggerated Life of Death Panels: The Limited but Real Influence of Elite Rhetoric in the 2009-2010 Health Care Debate"

This archive contains partial replication code for the analyses reported in "The Exaggerated Life of Death Panels: The Limited but Real Influence of Elite Rhetoric in the 2009-2010 Health Care Debate." It includes the press releases analyzed in the article (framingpaper-09202017-pressreleases.zip) as well as code to estimate topic models from the press releases (healthframing-topicmodels-10062017_final.R) and separate code to analyze the press releases and survey data jointly (openendjoint100617_final.R). The raw survey data is separately available from the Roper Center (Kaiser Family Foundation) and Pew Research Center.
