Aurora Australis Voyage 2 1995-96 Underway Data

This dataset contains the underway data from Voyage 2 1995-96 of the Aurora Australis. This was an un-manned resupply voyage with a small marine science component. From the voyage leader's report:Science objectives of the voyage were to:1) Undertake seal survey and capture projects using the ship and helicopters as observation and data collection platforms.2) Undertake a bathymetric data collection program approaching and departing from Macquarie Island.3) Conduct ice core sampling on an opportunity basis prior to the vessel's arrival at Davis, in conjunction with other approved programs.4) Undertake approved iceberg observation program.5) Undertake approved bird observation program.6) Undertake approved program of sea ice measurements.7) Support ice and water sample collections.
