In recent years, multiple Macrobrachium rosenbergii farming regions in areas such as Gaoyou and Jiangdu, Yangzhou, Jiangsu, have experienced large-scale mortalities caused by DIV1. There has been a consistent annual increase in the incidence, transmission rate, and mortality rate associated with this disease, highlighting the need for urgent surveillance and control of DIV1.Based on the transcriptome analysis of hepatopancreas at 48 and 72 hpi under conditions optimal for DIV1 replication, we selected immune-related genes linked to defense processes including C-type lectin receptor signaling pathway, antigen processing and presentation, toll and Imd signaling pathway, lysosome, endocytosis, and Wnt signaling etc.This study sought to reveal the immune mechanisms of M. rosenbergii at the transcriptomic and molecular levels, which provides insights into understanding the pathogenesis behind high mortality rates and rapid spread of the disease, as well as for developing strategies for the surveillance and control of DIV1 from the perspectives of both viral replication and host immunity.
