The purpose of this study was to perform whole-genome sequencing on Borrelia spp. isolated and cultured from ticks submitted to the British Columbia Centre for Disease Control (BC CDC). This sequencing effort characterized genotypes for three Borrelia burgdorferi isolates endemic to tick vectors of the pacific northwest, a region of relatively low Lyme disease prevalence underrepresented in research.
