Australian electoral division 1984 and census, 1981

In 1984 the Australian Federal Electoral Division boundaries were altered. This data file links the new Electoral Divisions with the Census 1981 Collectors District field code. This will allow aggregation of the 7 page, 34 table Census 1981 CD Summary file data to the new Electoral Division boundaries, links to the digitised boundary files, and CD level data within the new electorates. The file covers all CDs in Australia. The variables in the file are State, Census Division, Census Sub-division, Census Collectors District (these four variables combine to form the 1981 CD field code), 1981 LGA code, 1984 Australian Electoral Division (AED) code, and the 1981 AED code.
