Replication Data for: the Folk Tale Rusa and Kelomang

In today's younger generation, there is a rapid decline in interest in traditional Indonesian folklore, which has driven the development of innovative solutions to preserve Indonesia's cultural heritage. This study introduces an augmented reality (AR) application based on one of Maluku's folklore, Rusa dan Kelomang, aiming to make Indonesian cultural storytelling interactive and engaging. Using the Agile methodology, the development process includes user-centered design, prototyping, and rigorous testing. The application features AR-based storytelling, interactive 3D visuals, and quizzes to enhance learning and entertainment. Testing results show a high usability score (86.9) and user acceptance rate (92%). These findings indicate that AR technology effectively bridges the gap in preserving Indonesian culture and meeting modern user preferences, providing a platform for education and entertainment for today's younger audience.
