Molybdenum isotopic compositions of reef-building corals from the northern South China Sea

This dataset includes molybdenum isotopic measurements from the host tissue, symbiotic zooxanthellae, and skeletons of eight branching reef-building corals, as well as measurements from the skeletons of twenty-eight Porites corals (six living colonies and twenty-two fossil colonies). All the coral specimens were collected from the northern South China Sea. The NIST SRM 3134 standard was used as the bracketing standard and calculated against to yield Mo isotopic compositions (δ98MoNIST) of samples.
