Modern LaTeX Editions of Public-Domain Mathematics Manuscripts: Itemized PDF and TeX Downloads

This version fixes download ergonomics for the public corpus. Version 4 exposed the corpus chiefly as one normalized ZIP; version 5 keeps that all-in-one ZIP for bulk users but also uploads one individually downloadable PDF and one individually downloadable flattened TeX file for each corpus, plus a small per-corpus PDF+TeX ZIP. Live project status as of 2026-05-26: the public normalized corpus contains 31 corpus folders. Zenodo now exposes 31 individual PDFs, 31 individual TeX files, 31 per-corpus PDF+TeX bundles, and one all-in-one normalized ZIP. Users can download a single work, its source, a work-level bundle, or the full corpus. Rights/provenance policy: the public record contains public-domain source works, scans of those original works, and machine-assisted transcriptions of those original works. Scans of the original papers/books are release material. A modern collected-work package is held only when that exact package is confirmed copyrighted; in that case the workflow strips prefaces, publisher matter, editorial apparatus, and the exact collected-work organization, then publishes the original public-domain papers as coherent per-paper scan/transcription units. If better original journal/offprint scans are available, those can be substituted, but absence of an alternative scan is not by itself a reason to block public-domain original-paper pages. Held lanes such as SGA, Weil, Cartan, Kahler, Deligne, and exact confirmed-copyright collected-work packages remain outside the public upload only until they are separated into public original-paper scan/transcription units or otherwise confirmed safe.
