Lagrangian Flux Decomposition input datasets and sample outputs

Lagrangian Flux Decomposition (LFD) — model inputs and reference outputs produced by https://actea.earth Environmental driver data and reference results for the Lagrangian Flux Decomposition (LFD) model, a statistical ocean model that quantifies marine carbon dioxide removal (mCDR) potential from distributed alkalinity enhancement along Lagrangian tracer trajectories. The dataset covers four locations (Labrador Sea, SW Greenland, Unimak Pass, Los Angeles coast) across 16 scenarios spanning low/mid/high flux distributions and an alternate biogeochemistry baseline, simulated at daily resolution for four years (1999-01-01 through 2002-12-31). Inputs (8 files, ~3.7 GB) — one per (location, BGC variant) pair — contain per-day environmental conditions (temperature, salinity, mixed-layer depth, sea ice, DIC, TA, seawater pCO₂, atmospheric CO₂, wind components) along 9,972 trajectory positions for 1,461 days each. These incorperate data from the below referenced datasets. Outputs (16 files, ~3.3 GB) — one per scenario case — contain the reference model results: per-trajectory daily and prior-cumulative air–sea flux (mol), and ΔpH. Scenario parameters (flux-distribution mean and standard deviation per case) are in scenarios.csv. All parquet files are ZSTD-compressed. Paired with the companion lfd_model.ipynb notebook (available at https://github.com/Actea-Earth/lagrangian-flux-decomposition), which reproduces these results to within Monte Carlo noise.
