VPRS 21414 Committee Minutes

This series comprises the meeting minutes of a range of committees of the East Gippsland Region Water Authority (VA 4237). Minutes of the following committees are included: Audit (1996-2002), Audit & Risk (2003-2022), Operations & Environmental Audit (1996-1996), Technical (1997-2022), Mitchell River Water Supply System Ad Hoc Committee (2004-2007), Customer (2014-2021) and Strategy (2016-2022). A committee may be appointed for any purpose which the Authority felt would be better regulated and managed by such a committee. A committee may be either a standing committee or an occasional committee; standing committees (in areas such as finance, public works etc.) are appointed to oversee specific matters on an ongoing basis and submitted reports to the board regularly, with these being included in the board minutes. Occasional committees were appointed for shorter terms to manage specific matters. Membership of committees was made up of some or all of the members of the Authority.
