资源简介:

DATA SET FROM THE ARTICLE Improving musician students' performance through an educational programme for managing MPA Performance anxiety is a functional psychological phenomenon that negatively affects a large percentage of professional and student musicians. Its treatment is complex because it combines biological, psychological and environmental factors, it develops differently from other anxiety disorders, and the cognitive component plays a clear role both in its development and in the follow-up of treatment. The prognosis is also highly variable and depends on personal and contextual variables. This study analyses whether a specific treatment programme for musicians in training, consisting of CBT or mindfulness, reduces symptoms of performance anxiety and contributes to perceptions of self-efficacy in two educational contexts. The sample includes Spanish students from the Higher Conservatory (university). Pre-test, post-test and follow-up measures are collected. Differences are found in the type of intervention programme, the influence of teaching practices, the influence of student context, age of musical initiation, interest in and adherence to treatment. New findings are reported in relation to previous literature in relation to programme follow-up and the influence that awareness of the need for treatment may have on symptom improvement.
