This study investigates the composition of the fecal microbiome in healthy Saudi adults aged 19 to 69 years using shotgun metagenomic sequencing. Fecal samples were collected from various locations in Riyadh between January 2024 to February 2025. DNA was extracted from these samples and sequenced on the NextSeq 200 platform. The resulting sequences provide insights into variations in microbial diversity and community structure associated with healthy aging.
