Self-Efficacy and Student Acceptance of AI Technologies
收藏资源简介:
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology has experienced rapid development and has brought great changes to the field of higher education . The success of integrating this technology, however, depends on the readiness and willingness of its users, especially students. The aim of this research is to assess the influence of self-efficacy, i.e. a person’s belief in his/her technical operational skills, as well as the degree of students’ acceptance of AI-powered tools. This study applies the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) framework to investigate the relationship between self-efficacy and the perceived ease of use and perceived value of AI technology. The research method used is quantitative with the distribution of questionnaires to the student respondents. The findings are anticipated to show how Perceived Usefulness and Trust in AI significantly enhance students Academic Self-Efficacy. Students with high self-efficacy are more likely to view AI as a tool that can be easily mastered for academic efficiency. These findings offer implications for educational institutions not only to provide technological access but also increase digital literacy and student confidence through technical training to optimize the use of AI in the campus environment.
