EST sequencing. Aspergillus oryzae RIB40

The National Research Institute of Brewing (NRIB), Japan, along with other members of a consortium of academic and industry research organizations, sequenced ESTs from Aspergillus oryzae wild-type strain RIB40. The ESTs were derived from nine Aspergillus oryzae cultures grown under different conditions. Over 21,000 ESTs were assembled into more than 7,500 non-redundant consensus sequences (contigs). Most contigs, including 62.4% singletons, were derived from only a single culture.
